The Onam celebration of the Senior Secondary section of Ansar English School concluded on August 30, 2025, at 2:30 pm. The 12th-grade students added to the charm of the occasion by dressing in traditional Malayali attire.
The celebration began with a public Pookkalam, followed by an exciting musical chair competition. Subsequently, all 12th-grade students came together to prepare an Onam Sadya in the school mess hall, which brought immense joy to everyone.
Onam-themed competitions were organized, including musical chairs, biscuit biting, lemon spoon, and the thrilling Uriyadi competition and intense tug-of-war, which added to the excitement of the celebration. The 11th-grade students prepared Onam Sadya in their classrooms.
The traditional competitions filled the students with happiness, enthusiasm, and healthy competitive spirit. Overall, the event was a diverse and colorful experience that strengthened the bond between teachers and students, creating beautiful memories filled with unity and cultural pride.
