The Secondary and Senior Secondary Sections of Ansar English School successfully conducted a Fire Rescue Programme on 16 September 2025 at 11:45 a.m in the school portico, with the goal of creating awareness and building confidence among students in handling emergency situations.
At the sound of the mock drill siren, students promptly assembled at the designated area under the guidance of their respective teachers, following all safety protocols in an orderly and disciplined manner. As part of the demonstration, a simulated scenario was arranged where one student was hidden, and the rescue team, led by Mr. Suhail, carried out a rescue operation using a fire extinguisher pump, effectively demonstrating the critical importance of timely and correct action during emergencies.
The programme was closely supervised by Vice Principal Ms. Shyny Hamza, Junior Principal of Senior Secondary Ms. Sajidha Razak, Junior Principal of Secondary Section Ms. Ravya K. R., and Assistant Junior Principals Ms. Nameera and Ms. Mehar Usman. Their continuous motivation and clear instructions instilled confidence in the students, emphasizing that emergencies should be faced with calmness, preparedness, and courage rather than fear.
The drill concluded successfully, reinforcing essential values of safety, preparedness, and resilience. It equipped students with practical knowledge and hands-on experience, preparing them to handle unexpected situations effectively in the future.
