Ansar English School, Perumpilavu, observed National Mathematics Day with great enthusiasm through a series of thoughtfully designed activities across all sections, emphasising the joy, creativity, and real-life relevance of mathematics. The Primary Section marked the occasion on 19 December 2025 with engaging activities such as Math Quest and the Ramanujan Number Quest Treasure Hunt, which nurtured logical thinking, teamwork, and problem-solving skills; the programme concluded with a brief reflection on the life and contributions of Srinivasa Ramanujan, followed by the announcement of winners by Junior Principal Ms. Saleena Kader. The Middle Section observed the day at Vriksha Vidyalaya under the guidance of the Mathematics Department, in the presence of Vice Principal Ms. Shyny Hamza and Junior Principal Ms. Fareeda, where students showcased their understanding and creativity through Creative Math Art, a Math Skit, and a Mini Drama. The Secondary Section observed the occasion on 29 December 2026 with the objective of promoting interest and awareness in mathematics through an energetic Quiz Competition conducted during the zero period, generating excitement, healthy competition, and enhanced mathematical thinking. The Senior Secondary Section added a unique experiential dimension with an engaging Maths Escape Room Challenge held in the Mathematics Laboratory, inaugurated by Junior Principal Ms. Sajda Razak, where students enthusiastically solved puzzles and logical tasks. The observance concluded on a high note with the announcement of winners, and prizes will be awarded to the achievers, reinforcing the idea that mathematics is not merely about numbers but a vibrant blend of curiosity, creativity, and joyful learning.
