Ansar English School, Perumpilavu, celebrated National Postal Day 2025 with the unifying theme “Connecting Hearts, Preserving Memories,” through a series of creative and meaningful activities across all sections. The Primary Section marked the occasion on October 13th with delightful letter-writing activities, where students wrote heartfelt messages to friends, teachers, and the Principal. The highlight was Aysha Haya of Class 4D, dressed as a postman, distributing letters to Vice Principal Ms. Shyny Hamza, Junior Principal Ms. Saleena Kader, teachers, and students — beautifully reviving the joy of handwritten communication. The Middle Section hosted an interactive session with Mr. Mahesh Mohanan, IPF of the Post Office, and his team, who enlightened students on the vital role of postal services in connecting people nationwide. Students enthusiastically participated in a postcard-writing activity, expressing affection and gratitude to their favourite persons. The Secondary Section observed the day on October 15th through events organized by Class IX B, including “Letter to the Favourite Teacher” and a Stamp Making Competition, fostering creativity and appreciation for traditional correspondence. Meanwhile, Class 11F added a reflective touch with “Letter to My Future Self” and a Stamp Collection Exhibition by parents, who shared cherished memories of postal culture. Winners — Naamir Nishad, Sarah Hanin, and Nabhan among students, and Mr. Sajeeh and Mrs. Shijila among parents — were honoured for their contributions. The celebration across all sections rekindled nostalgia, strengthened school-community bonds, and reminded everyone of the timeless magic of letters in connecting hearts across generations.
