A Fire and Safety Awareness Session was conducted at Ansar English School, Perumpilavu, on 7th October 2025 at 2:00 PM in the School Auditorium. The session aimed to educate the school community about fire prevention, safety measures, and the importance of a prompt and responsible response during emergencies.
The session was led by Mr. Mohammed Shareef P and Mr. Syam M G, Fire and Rescue Officers from Kunnamkulam Fire Station. They provided valuable insights on handling fire incidents, demonstrated the use of fire extinguishers, and discussed precautionary measures to ensure safety within the school premises.
The participants included Sprouts, LP and Primary teachers, as well as non-teaching staff. The interactive session helped the participants gain practical knowledge about identifying fire hazards and taking immediate safety actions.
The programme successfully created awareness among the staff and teachers about the importance of preparedness and quick response during fire emergencies, reinforcing the idea that “Safety starts with you.”
