Children’s Day at Ansar English School bloomed into a day filled with joy, heartfelt expression, and meaningful reflection. The celebration began with a prayer, pledge, and a warm welcome, gently setting the tone for what became a memorable morning. The Chief Guest, Mr. Niyas, now a scientist and once a beloved Mathematics teacher at Ansar English school, shared an inspiring message that reminded students of the beauty of childhood and the responsibilities that come with growing up. The school director, Dr. Najeeb Mohammed, also addressed the gathering and conveyed his warm wishes to the students, adding depth and encouragement to the occasion. What followed was a series of thoughtful performances by students from different sections, touching upon themes like child labour, war, hunger, missing rights, and freedom of expression. The emotional letter presentations stirred the audience and encouraged everyone to reflect on the experiences of children across the world. A striking highlight was the Senior Secondary section’s courtroom dramatization, which powerfully illustrated children’s rights and the importance of standing up for justice. The concluding address delivered in the voice of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru added a meaningful, nostalgic touch. The LP and Primary students then lit up the stage with their cheerful Harmony Dance, filling the hall with colour and smiles. A special sweet distribution by the Student Council further heightened the festive spirit, and the celebration came to a warm close with a heartfelt felicitation, a sincere vote of thanks by School Leader Naamir Nishad, and the National Anthem presented gracefully by the Middle Section choir.
Beyond the main programme, Ansar Sprouts enjoyed their own vibrant celebration inaugurated by Principal Mr. Feroz E M. The day featured a lively Fancy Dress show, a spirited Quiz Competition, the adorable Little Stars Dance, a Wishes Wall, and delightful presentations of the Children’s Day Song and Nehru’s Speech, giving the little ones a chance to express their creativity and enjoy the essence of the occasion. Meanwhile, the Senior Secondary students hosted a fun filled celebration that opened with a warm welcome and set a cheerful tone for the morning. Student Miyas appeared as Jawaharlal Nehru, adding a charming traditional touch, and the programme continued with A Walk Down Memory Lane, Beat the Seat Musical Chair, and Paper Trialz of Childhood. These activities brought laughter, nostalgia, and a sense of togetherness as students revisited the innocence and excitement of their early years.
