International Literacy Day

Observed with Inspiration and Inclusivity

International Literacy Day was observed across different sections of Ansar English School with enthusiasm, creativity, and purpose. The Primary Section began the observance with book donations to the Library, the inauguration of the Teachers’ Library, and a Reading Competition for the non-teaching staff, along with a Literacy Pledge by students and teachers. The Middle Section observed the day on 8th September with a thoughtful speech, an inspiring skit on the importance of literacy, and a Spell Bee competition for Classes 6 to 8. The Secondary Section, led by Class IX A, observed the day on 10th September under the theme “One Life, One Book” through a Slogan Writing Competition and an engaging Know Your Book activity. Adding a modern dimension, the Senior Secondary Section marked the occasion on 11th September by displaying literacy-themed charts in the campus and conducting a digital literacy session for the housekeeping staff, equipping them with practical skills in software use, cyber safety, and safe social media practices. Together, these observances highlighted literacy as the cornerstone of learning, empowerment, and inclusive growth.
