Ansar English School, Perumpilavu, celebrated World Environment Day on 5 June 2026 with a wide range of activities promoting environmental awareness and sustainable living. The celebrations were graced by Dr. Najeeb Mohamed (Director SE), Ms. Sajidha Razak (Principal In-charge), and the Junior Principals of various sections. Students across all sections actively participated in programmes such as sapling exchange, waste-to-wonder projects, human tree formation, eco-friendly file making, environmental quizzes, green classroom and leaf art competitions, seed distribution, butterfly garden preparation, and environmental awareness campaigns. Highlights of the day included the inauguration of the school greenhouse, the sustainable agriculture programme “Vilavil Ninnu Vibhavathilekku,” and various creative initiatives that encouraged students and parents to adopt eco-friendly practices. The enthusiastic involvement of students, teachers, and parents made the celebration a grand success, reinforcing the importance of environmental stewardship and inspiring everyone to work towards a greener and more sustainable future.
