Ansar Campus Celebrates Reading Week: A Literary Haven for All

reading week

Ansar Campus transformed into a literary haven during its annual Reading Week . This immersive initiative aimed to cultivate a love for reading among students, faculty, and staff, fostering a vibrant literary culture within the campus.

The week kicked off with the "Drop Everything and Read" (DEAR) program, encouraging everyone on campus, including visitors, to dedicate 15 minutes of their day to uninterrupted reading. Organized reading corners were set up throughout the campus, offering a diverse selection of books to cater to various interests and ignite reading enthusiasm.

The competitive spirit was ignited with a series of reading-themed contests. Quizzes tested the knowledge and comprehension skills of students, teachers, and non-teaching staff. To encourage creative expression, competitions were held for versification, storytelling, and book reviews. These events, spearheaded by different departments in collaboration with the school library, fostered a spirit of healthy competition and a deeper engagement with literature.

Beyond the contests, the week offered a chance to unleash creativity. Students participated in captivating events like cover page design competitions, showcasing their artistic talents. Poetic exhibitions displayed the literary prowess of budding poets, while character costume contests brought beloved literary figures to life.

The week culminated in a grand valedictory function. The event celebrated the success of Reading Week, acknowledging the active participation and the newfound enthusiasm for reading that blossomed across the Ansar Campus community.

This immersive week of literary activities not only emphasized the importance of reading but also provided a platform for students, faculty, and staff to connect through their shared love for the written word. It's a testament to Ansar Campus' dedication to fostering a well-rounded educational experience that extends beyond textbooks and classrooms.
