Ansar English School Celebrates International Yoga Day
On June 21, 2024, Ansar English School observed International Yoga Day with enthusiasm across all sections, promoting physical fitness, mental clarity, and emotional balance among students. In the kindergarten section, warm-up routines and playful yoga sessions introduced the youngest students to the benefits of yoga in an engaging manner.
The LP section focused on raising yoga awareness through informative classes and demonstrations by teachers. These activities aimed to pique students' interest in yoga and highlight its physical and mental benefits. The primary section combined the observation with World Music Day, integrating activities like guided yoga sessions and lively antakshari sessions where students showcased their musical talents. This integration enriched the learning experience and instilled ethical values.
In the middle section, under the guidance of Physical Education teacher Mr. Safwan, students participated in yoga postures with precision, reflecting their dedication and training. An informative speech emphasized the importance of yoga for overall well-being. The secondary section organized additional activities, including a digital poster competition and a song writing contest, to engage older students. They also conducted a yoga demonstration with meditative music and a quiz competition covering yoga and music topics, fostering creativity and cultural understanding.
