Ansar English School Marks 68th Kerala Piravi with Cultural Celebrations
On November 1st, 2024, Ansar English School, Perumpilavu, celebrated Kerala Piravi with a vibrant array of activities across all sections, showcasing the state’s cultural heritage. The KG section began the day with a traditional ramp walk and an exhibition of antiques, while the LP section followed with a colorful rally representing Kerala’s 14 districts, along with traditional dances and games. In the Primary Section, an interactive session with a Kerala Kalamandalam artist introduced students to traditional musical instruments. The Middle Section featured Naadanpaatu, a tableau on Malayalam traditions, and a Malayalam extempore competition, highlighting students’ cultural talents. The Secondary and Senior Secondary students participated in a Malayalam Speaking Challenge and cultural quiz, emphasizing the importance of linguistic pride. The day’s events fostered a deep appreciation for Kerala’s legacy, leaving students with renewed cultural pride and community spirit.
