State Level Kabaddi Chess Tournament organized by Integrated Education Council of India culminated by adding  a few heart stirring  moments  to the successful journey of Ansar English School.
Ansar English School emerged as the champions in all the categories of Kabaddi tournament held at Ansar English School, Perumpilavu on September 12, Tuesday. The competitions were held in four categories namely U-17 Boys, U-17 Girls, U-19 Boys and U-19 Girls. Ansaries  proved  to be unbeatable in each ferocious match under all categories. The fact that Ansar's opponents in the final were Mount Seena Pathiripala in all the  three  thrilling matches added vehement spirit to the participants.
Under 17-  Girls category , Jifa from Ansar English School won the  Best Rider Award and Captain Minna won the Best Defender Award. Other achievements of Ansar were  U-17 Boys Best Defender Abdullah Kabir, U-19 Girls Best Rider Nazmin, Best Defender Safa Maryam and U-19 Boys Best Rider Mahfuz.
In the chess competitions, in  under 14 girls category Lina Nazmin secured third position and in U17 girls category, Ayesha Anees secured second position  and U19 girls category, Hajara Anees secured first position . Winners were awarded with  trophies & certificates by IECI Director Mr. Talha Hussain. Ansar English School CEO  Dr. Najeeb Muhammad, Principal 
Mr. Shihabuddeen Pulath,  Vice Principal Mrs. Shiny Hamza  and Physical Education Head, Mr. Abubacker enriched the session with their gracious presence.
