Annual Sports Meet for Parents  was organized by  Ansar English School on  13/1/24.  The function started with prayer and National anthem led by the school choir.  School Vice Principal Mrs Shyny Hamsa welcomed the gathering.  School Principal Shihabudeen Pulath inaugurated the function and spoke about the importance of organising such events .  PTSC Asst Mentor Mr. Abdul Khader delivered the felicitations. Junior principals of various sections were present on the stage.  School CEO Dr. Najeeb Muhammad kicked off the program. School Sports HOD Aboobacker KA expressed his gratitude for the ceremony.  The competition for parents was organized in Volleyball, Chess, Carrom, Cricket, Football and Badminton.  Muhammad Manoj, Muhammad Suhail and Sinees won the men's carrom competition while Dilsha KM, Khairuneesa O and Sangeeta Binu won the first, second and third positions respectively in the women's category.  Naseema and Bushra KM won the first and second positions in the women's chess competition and Selena Khader, Meghana CK and Nishida KV won the first and second positions in the badminton women's category and Shakir MA, Muhammad Suhail, Abdullahkutty and others won the first, second and third positions respectively in the men's badminton category.  The parents' team won the football match while the teachers' team won the cricket and volleyball.
The opening ceremony ended on a grand note, ushering in the sporting spectacle to come.
