World Food Day: Celebrating Nutrition, Creativity, and Community Spirit
Ansar English School observed World Food Day across various sections with activities aimed at promoting healthy eating, creativity, and social responsibility. In the KG section, young students came dressed in vibrant costumes as different healthy and unhealthy foods, exploring the concept of balanced diets through engaging activities. A mini display allowed the children to proudly showcase their costumes, and teachers led interactive discussions to explain how making nutritious choices helps them grow strong and healthy. The LP Section encouraged nutritious choices with a snack-sharing initiative. The Primary Section launched a "Healthy Homemade Snacks Sharing" activity and a Vegetable Garden Initiative on October 16, inspiring sustainability and community awareness. The Middle Section’s culinary festival, "Symphony of Flavours," held on October 19, showcased students' cooking skills and teamwork, inaugurated by school officials. The Secondary Section organized a fireless cookery competition focused on health-conscious recipes, motivating students to make creative and nutritious choices. The NSS team engaged in a compassionate campaign, distributing lunch kits at Kunnamkulam Government Hospital to those in need, fostering empathy and social responsibility. Together, these activities highlighted the school's commitment to promoting healthy lifestyles, creativity, and community welfare, aligning with World Food Day’s global objectives.
